More than 25,000 slum dwellers in New Delhi received doorstep medical
facilities through Smile on Wheels in the last quarter. Overcoming
social barriers, Smile Foundation has reached out to a larger part of
the urban poor population, 72% of which includes women and children.
On a regular basis, awareness sessions on diseases like TB, HIV, RTI/ STI, and also basic health & hygiene are being conducted in different locations. These are complemented with street plays on various ailments and health issues like Swine Flu, Immunization, Institutional delivery, Sanitation and hygiene, etc.

Smile Foundation has at present 22 operational Smile on Wheels mobile
hospital projects serving 265 remote villages and urban slums across
India. It benefitted 3, 10, 047 children, young mothers and family
members directly during last one year alone.
